About

High Point Farm is a not-for-profit organization located in Montague, New Jersey, abutting Stokes State Forest and High Point State Park along the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York State borders. High Point Farm is a unique and integral part of Fountain House.

Located on 477 acres of land, the working farm encompasses 30 acres including housing, gardens, animal pastures, 15 acres of meadows, 20 acres of streams and preserved wetlands and a 10 acre lake. The remaining acreage is dense forest.

The livestock consists of alpacas whose luxurious fibers represent a high priced cash crop, the sale of which provides income towards the operations of the farm. Members of Fountain House take part in all aspects of the work on the farm including animal husbandry, the fiber project, gardening and the maintenance and upkeep of the buildings.

High Point Farm is an award winning tree farm under the federal Forest Stewardship Program and a member of AOBA.
